Controls Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing and maintaining automated systems and processes. You will ensure that our machines and systems perform optimally and contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our production lines.

What you will do

As a Controls Engineer, you have an important role in optimizing the productivity, efficiency and safety of production lines and machines. You often work with other technical professionals and must communicate with other departments within the organization to ensure that controls systems integrate seamlessly with other business processes.

In practice, this means that you will, for example:

  • Design and program control and regulation systems for machines and production lines.
  • Selects and implements sensor and actuator technology.
  • Collaborates with other technical disciplines to ensure that the control systems of various machines and equipment are coordinated.
  • Establishes test procedures to evaluate the performance of control systems.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of control systems and resolve any malfunctions.
  • Researches and implements new technologies in the field of control systems and automation.

What does the position offer?

At iAUTOMATION, employees have 28 vacation days per year based on 40 hours prorated. Salary depends on experience and independence in work.

What knowledge and experience do we require?

We are looking for a real go-getter who is cheerful, open, honest, and stress resistant. Some knowledge of PCS7, WinCC, Rockwell, Wonderware, TIA Portal, and Step 7. A background in electrical engineering is a must and a background in IT is a plus.
