iAUTOMATION was tasked to complete the migration of the Allen-Bradley control system to a PCS 7 control system for the newly standardised SGT-A35 gas turbine. In this project iAUTOMATION did the following tasks:
- Control system Lead engineering for architecture and PCS 7 Controls
- Migration of code from Allen-Bradley to PCS 7
- Migration of all communication and IO systems
- Integration of the migrated core engine code
iAUTOMATION did the following work in this project
- Document all the Allen-Bradley code
- Setup the PCS 7 project
- Migrate all the Allen-Bradley code to PCS 7 APL
- Integrate the core engine control into the new unit sequences
- Align the HMI look and feel to the Siemens SGT lineup (100-400 /600-800)
- Move component selection to a more common part selection among the SGT lineup
- Migration of all IO systems
- Validation of the migrated code
- Creation of a Digital twin of the SGT-A35
- Setup FAT tools for SGT-A35 engineering project teams
- Integration and validation of BN3500 condition monitoring
- Integration and validation of Det-tronix F&G system
